We are looking for caring and sympathetic individuals interested in applying for a position as a carer and are qualified to FETAC Level 5 in Health Care Support. We are recruiting for all Northside areas, especially for carers who can work in Howth, Kilbarrack and Sutton. Qualifications and flexibility are essential to the role of Carer with Northside Home Care Services.

What qualifications do I need?
You need to be qualified to Fetac Level 5 in Health Care Support or be working towards a qualification in this area.
How can I get this qualification?
There are many courses, some of which are free of charge to eligible jobseekers. Contact your local employment service or training centre to find courses in your area.
When do I need to be available?
Our busiest times are 8am-3pm & 5pm-10pm but we’re looking for carers to cover various hours 7 days a week, especially evenings and weekends. The more flexible you are the better, however we will work around limited availability if we can.
Where will I be working?
We aim to match you to clients in your local area so you’re not travelling too far – we can’t always get it perfect but we try our best.
Do I need to drive and have a car?
It’s not essential, but it is desireable. We’ll take into account your transport options when scheduling care appointments.
